About

Creativity. Movement. Connection.

The world is in a consistent state of change. However, out of all the things that have come and gone in my life, the two constants have always been challenging my body to the fullest and burying myself in the depths of creative projects. Whether running, knitting, sewing, drawing, or a long bike ride—moving my body and mind with intention is my life source; it is where I have found my passion and my purpose.

An Iowan at heart who now resides in New York City, I’ve designed for Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Timberland, and Juicy Couture. My recent work with French Toast has allowed me to specialize in adaptive design and 3D technology which have both quickly turned into a lens which through I view the world. I am a creative designer who is obsessed with the everyday functionality of my work.

Outside of designing, I am a Crew Runner for Adidas Runners which has given me a deeper appreciation as to what makes garments simultaneously beautiful and beautifully functional. In this role, I have found community through the challenges of long distance running, and I have found connection through the shared desire to explore what lives beyond our comfort zones.

My design inspiration comes from the way clothes make you feel at home in yourself and how they work with the body, not against it. Living in New York City gives you the unique experience of constantly trying to find ways cultivate your self-expression while demanding you do so against endless walking, fifth-floor walkups, and grocery hauls between boroughs. There is no space for flimsy waistbands or faux pockets—I want my designs to look as beautiful in every detail as they are functional.

Looking ahead in my career, I am eager to continue my learning of 3D and adaptive design while challenging my creative skills to make clothes that express the depths of style, movement, and self.
